Demotivational Poster: Hiroshi Yamauchi by RockyToonz93 Demotivational Poster: Hiroshi Yamauchi by RockyToonz93
Today I've just learned that the video game world has lost an icon. This man, Hiroshi Yamauchi, became president of Nintendo in 1949, then a trading card company. He transformed Nintendo into what it is today and drove it into video game victory! So I made this demotivational poster as a tribute to him.

R.I.P. Hiroshi Yamauchi (1927-2013) :iconsadfaceplz:

Photo (C) of Respective owners. Thank You. :(

I remember reading about this at Metroid Database a long time ago. I mean it was sad to hear that he died. I understand that Nintendo has a new president that gives us new games on new Nintendo systems, but those days with him at the helm of Nintendo, those days are over, and it's really really sad!

:iconcryforeverplz: Pretty much my reaction. We, as gamers, will never forget such an amazing man. A man who made Nintendo from a card company, to the company that saved gaming forever. (North America Video game Crash) I can't handle all of these tears! :iconimsosadplz:

You know the Video Game Crash of 84 was SO bad, Warner Bros., then a Warner Communications company, lost profits when the dreaded E.T. game bombed, and that they officially disowned them and wanted nothing to with 'em! Smart move WB, smart move!!!! :iconthumbsupplz:

All it takes is just one person to see beyond everyone else, and then go make a dream happen. He did just just that..and so can everyone else.

I grew up a Sega kid, but I also like Nintendo as well. : D
